We're looking for a CNC Programmer / Toolmaker who wants to take ownership of the full machining process, from programming to setup to finished part. This is a hands-on role that combines CNC programming with toolroom machining—getting you out from behind a screen and onto the shop floor. You'll work on everything from one-off prototype parts to production runs, with responsibility for seeing jobs through from start to finish. You'll machine components used in high-performance archery and bowhunting equipment trusted by hunters across the country.

What You'll Do:

Program, set up, and run CNC vertical machining centers (Mastercam and/or G-code) Develop and optimize machining processes, including toolpaths, cycle times, and efficiency Design and build fixtures, jigs, and workholding for both production and prototype work Machine parts from raw material to tight tolerances, including complex geometries Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T requirements Select tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining strategies across a range of materials Prove out programs, troubleshoot issues, and refine processes Operate manual toolroom equipment (lathe, mill, grinder) as needed Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments Partner with engineering and production to improve designs and manufacturability Manage multiple projects independently while maintaining high quality standards

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of CNC programming, setup, and machining experience Strong experience with both CNC machining and manual toolroom work Proficiency in Mastercam (2D/3D; multi-axis a plus) Experience with fixture design and workholding solutions Ability to machine complex parts and 3D surfaces Familiarity with Fanuc-controlled machines (Haas, DMG Mori, or similar) Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Comfortable using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment

Additional Qualifications:

Associate degree or trade certification in machining or manufacturing (preferred) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)

Work Environment:

Full-time, hourly position with overtime opportunities Manufacturing shop environment (noise, moving equipment, temperature variation) Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
