Full Job Description Hours:

7:00 - 3:30pm

M-F Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 Per hour Fabrication and Machine shop in Rochester, NY is looking for an experienced CNC operator to join their team. 1st shift hours Pay varies based on experience - $30/hr+ Please respond with resume for immediate consideration.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

• 5 or more years of CNC operation experience. (Mastercam, Siemens NX, etc…)
• Production experience in an individual, team or cell production environment
• An understanding of process flow
• Proven ability to work well with others
• A commitment to success
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain cooperative team building relationships within the organization
• Consistently demonstrate the ability to recognize and respond to changing priorities
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

JOB DUTIES

• Must possess a thorough understanding and working knowledge of CNC machines, with the ability to program, set up, inspect, and operate lathes.
• Achieve the goals and productivity objectives of the organization.
• Follow all workplace organization and cleanliness procedures.
• Monitor the quality of machined parts and report all defects to the Production Manager.
• Maintain compliance with all work and safety rules regarding productivity and conduct during the work period.
• Assist in set-up and operation of CNC machines as well as inspection of parts during machining process and inspection of finished parts based on the production plan or as directed by the Production Manager.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
