Ideal CNC Machinist and/or Class A Lead/Supervisor is responsible for operating, setting up, programming and supervising the operation of CNC Milling, Multi-axis and Lathe Machines. Must be able to perform in-progress inspections and make any off-set changes as required to ensure an acceptable first piece. Must have 5 years experience minimum of CNC Machining, Programming and Setting-Up. Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Autodesk/FeatureCam or similar software. Maintain organized records of all programs, setups, tooling lists, and process improvements. Knowledge of operating Haas, Milltronics, Bridgeport, Mitsubishi among others. Maintaining CNC programs to produce high-quality precision parts while maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste. Diagnose and resolve problems during the machining process. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and CAD models to determine machining requirements and sequence of operations. Work closely with machinist, engineers, and quality control teams to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances. Continuously assess and recommend machining improvements for cycle time reduction and process efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times. Document quality data and report non-conformities. Use standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gages. High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR post High School training/Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Solid Model CAD files. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Trade certification in CNC machining or manufacturing technology
