CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator

Overview We are looking for an experience CNC Machinist/ Programmer. We currently have Hardinge, Nomura, QuickTech CNC lathes with 12-ft. bar feeders. We run all Fanuc controllers and have Autodesk Fusion. Applicant must be capable of defining processes, programming, setup, tool selection etc. Must be a hard worker and have good attendance. Must be able to program. Pay is based on experience.

Hours:

6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The CNC Operator will be responsible for: The setup and operation of designated machine including programming Produce minimum daily production quantities Maintaining a clean and safe work area Inspect own work during the production process and make proper adjustments as needed Minimum qualifications and experience requirements Prior experience in programming CNC machines The ability to lift 50 lbs. and be able to stand for whole shift The ability to read order forms, measuring instruments, calipers and micrometers Good understanding of math including decimals and fractions Ability to learn and follow instructions Must have prior experience in machining steel
