Job Description

Location:
Salem, OH 44460 A day in the life You arrive, review the job traveler, load the program, and prove out a new run on a multi‑axis mill. You tweak offsets to hit tight tolerances, verify surface finishes, and log inspection results. Mid‑shift, you jump to a lathe changeover, interpret a complex drawing, and fine‑tune feeds, speeds, and tool paths. You wrap up by documenting production data and collaborating with teammates to shave minutes off the next cycle—always with safety and quality at the forefront. What you'll handle Set up and run CNC equipment to deliver precision parts to print and process specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD outputs to plan machining steps. Continuously monitor operations; adjust tools, offsets, and parameters to maintain quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep machines production‑ready. Partner with the team to refine setups, streamline changeovers, and improve throughput. Follow safety protocols and quality procedures throughout every stage of machining. Record production metrics and maintain accurate, timely documentation of completed work. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent; a machining certificate or technical degree is a plus. Hands‑on experience as a CNC machinist or a closely related role. Fluency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Solid understanding of CNC programming languages (for example, G‑code). Comfort with a wide range of machining tools and shop equipment. Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality work. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast‑paced production environment. Proficiencies that set you up for success
