CNC Tool Maker/ Wire EDM Programmer - 2+ years required

Duties Set up, operate, and program CNC wire cutting machines utilizing Fanuc controls and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to produce precise wire components. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and schematics to ensure accurate machining processes. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform electrical discharge machining (EDM) operations on wire EDM machines to achieve intricate cuts and complex geometries. Maintain machine calibration and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime while adhering to safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and welding equipment as needed for assembly or finishing tasks. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste in the machining process. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes with a strong understanding of Fanuc controls or similar systems. Skilled in CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading with a focus on precision manufacturing. Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques specific to wire EDM processes. Mechanical knowledge including tooling setup, fixture design, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Familiarity with SolidWorks or CAD software for part design review and modifications. Experience working with plastics injection molding or related manufacturing environments is a plus. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines accurately. Pay:

$26.49 - $31.90 per hour
