Job Description

With fully integrated, in-house engineering and machining capabilities, we deliver end-to-end solutions-from design through fabrication-ensuring quality, precision, and responsiveness that sets them apart in the marketPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to develop, optimize and document CNC programs for precision parts production. The role focuses on converting engineering drawings into efficient, accurate CNC programs using CAD/CAM tools (including Mastercam), supporting machine setup, and collaborating with machinists and quality teams to meet production, cost, and quality goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and optimize CNC programs from engineering drawings and specifications.

Generate toolpaths and post-process code using Mastercam and other CAM software.

Translate part geometry into efficient machining strategies, selecting cutting tools, feeds, speeds and operations.

Test and debug programs through simulation and on-machine dry runs; revise programs based on results.

Support machine setup and first-article runs; work directly with CNC machinists to resolve issues during production.

Maintain accurate program libraries, setup sheets, tooling lists and documentation for production.

Collaborate with engineers and quality inspectors to ensure parts meet dimensional and surface-finish requirements.

Drive continuous improvement by reducing cycle time, minimizing tooling costs, and improving part quality.

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.

QualificationsAssociate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field.3+ years of CNC programming experience in a production environment.

Proven proficiency with Mastercam (toolpath creation, post-processing, and simulation).Hands-on experience as a CNC machinist, including setup, fixturing, and operation of mills and lathes.

Strong understanding of G-code, CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas), tooling, feeds and speeds.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection data.

Familiarity with materials, cutting tools, and machining processes for metals and plastics.

Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills; able to work cross-functionally with engineering and quality teams.

Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to meeting production schedules and quality standards.

Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required by production demands.
