About the Role Are you a technical expert who enjoys the "family feel" of a local shop but wants the stability of a major corporation? The company, a leader in the precision manufacturing of fluid swivels and hydraulic components, is looking for a CNC Programmer to join our Spring City team. We aren't looking for someone who just sits behind a screen; we need "hybrid" talent. You ll be the bridge between design and production-creating complex programs and then heading to the shop floor to lead setups and troubleshoot in real-time.

Key Responsibilities Program Development:
Create and optimize high-efficiency CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for CNC Mills and Lathes.Setup & Operation:
Lead the setup and operation of Haas 3-axis and 4-axis machining centers.Blueprints & GD&T:
Interpret complex engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure absolute precision.Material Strategy:
Select optimal cutting tools, feed rates, and machine speeds for various materials, primarily steel and aluminum.Precision Quality:
Perform first-article inspections to maintain tight tolerances, often within $\pm 0.0005$ inches.Collaboration:
Partner with our engineering team to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle times.Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
3-5 years of hands-on CNC programming and machining experience.Software:
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD is highly preferred).Technical Smarts:
Deep understanding of machining principles, including speeds/feeds and Lean Manufacturing practices.Education:
High school diploma or GED required. A technical certification or Associate s degree in Precision Machining is a major plus.Physical Ability:
