This position is responsible for engineering commercial cabinetry for CNC production using Cabinet Vision, developing production-ready machining programs, preparing customer shop drawings, and maintaining the engineering standards that drive an automated manufacturing process. The position may be performed remotely or from the company's Northeast Ohio facility. Remote candidates must be available during Eastern Time business hours. Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, project coordination, and facility support. Key Responsibilities Engineer commercial cabinetry for CNC manufacturing using Cabinet Vision and Screen-to-Machine Create CNC machining programs for routing, drilling, dadoes, pocketing, hardware, and tooling operations Develop production-ready engineering packages from architectural drawings and specifications Prepare and revise customer shop drawings Generate bills of material, cut lists, labels, and production documentation Identify and resolve drawing conflicts and engineering issues before production Coordinate with Estimating, Project Management, Purchasing, and Production Provide technical support to the manufacturing team Lead the continued development of Cabinet Vision libraries, construction standards, machining strategies, and manufacturing rules Improve manufacturing efficiency, CNC automation, product quality, and engineering procedures Qualifications Extensive Cabinet Vision experience, including Screen-to-Machine CNC programming experience within cabinet, casework, or millwork manufacturing Strong understanding of commercial cabinet construction and manufacturing methods Experience preparing commercial casework shop drawings Ability to interpret architectural drawings and project specifications Experience developing accurate, production-ready CNC programs Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to work independently in a remote environment Experience with AutoCAD, Microvellum, SketchUp, or similar CAD software is beneficial.
