In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs that drive precision machining operations. Your expertise will ensure that parts are manufactured efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and cutting-edge software, contributing directly to our production excellence and innovation. Responsibilities Develop and write CNC programs for various machines such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools like AutoCAD and Fusion. Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure precise machining processes. Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including Fanuc controllers, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and parameters are in place for optimal operation. Conduct toolpath verification and simulation to prevent errors before actual machining begins; troubleshoot issues during production runs. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions against specifications. Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency in machining operations. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, adjustments, and quality checks to ensure traceability and continuous improvement. Skills Strong proficiency in CNC programming for both milling machines and lathes with experience in Fanuc controls. Extensive knowledge of CAD/CAM software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, and other relevant tools. Deep understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, GD&T principles, and mechanical drawings. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators. Mechanical knowledge of tooling selection, geometry calculations, and machine setup procedures. Strong math skills related to machining tolerances, dimensions, and geometric calculations.
