Are you at your best turning complex GD&T drawings into finished parts that fit the first time? If so, Atlantic Track & Turnout Co.—an employee-owned leader serving railroads, transit, and crane runway markets for 60+ years—wants to meet you in Memphis, Tennessee. What you'll do Run CNC milling centers to manufacture precision parts for specialty trackwork. Read/interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T to plan machining steps. Learn to make minor edits to CNC programs and fine-tune speeds and feeds. Perform setup and tooling changes with supervision as needed. Use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and a CMM to validate features. Load and unload workpieces using an overhead crane safely and efficiently. Conduct routine machine maintenance and keep a clean, organized work area. Assist with component assembly using hand and power tools. Complete required quality documentation and support team goals with a positive attitude. Schedule, location, and employment type On-site in Memphis, Tennessee.
First shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Full-time, direct-hire with Atlantic Track. Bring this background High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, etc.). 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read CNC programs and complex prints. Foundational mechanical knowledge and shop math. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work on-site in Memphis. It's a plus if you have Associate's or technical degree. Experience in the railroad sector. OSHA 10 or 30-hour training. Forklift certification. Overhead crane operating experience. Core proficiencies and tech you'll use CNC Tooling; CNC Machine Setup & Changeover CNC Programming; G-Code; M-Code Tape measure reading; precision metrology; CMM CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc) CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Haas, Fanuc) CAM Software (Mastercam) Why you'll like working here Competitive pay. 401(k) with company match.
