You will serve as a technical authority, bridging the gap between engineering design and shop-floor execution to ensure high-precision output. Responsibilities Architect and maintain complex multi-axis CNC programs using advanced CAD/CAM software to maximize throughput. Standardize machining processes by selecting optimal cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to improve material removal rates. Validate program integrity through hands-on machine prove-outs and rigorous process documentation. Mentor junior programmers and machinists, fostering a culture of technical growth and operational precision. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to refine designs for manufacturability and support continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee the design of specialized jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support unique production requirements. Manage the master CNC program directory to ensure strict version control and compliance with quality management standards. Drive cost-reduction efforts by analyzing machining performance and implementing process optimizations. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of five years of professional CNC programming experience, including at least three years utilizing CAD/CAM software. Expertise in Unigraphics for multi-axis milling and PartMaker for multi-axis lathe applications. Strong mathematical proficiency, specifically in trigonometry, to solve complex machining challenges. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical instructions clearly to diverse teams. Analytical mindset with a proven track record of troubleshooting shop-floor production issues. Preferred Skills Prior hands-on experience working as a machinist. Technical degree or relevant certification in manufacturing technology. Experience leading or participating in Kaizen events or lean manufacturing projects.
