Experience programming, setting up, and operating cnc lathes required. Experience with Mastercam, Haas branded machinery, and ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 certified quality system preferred. The Machinist 3 is responsible for advanced CNC machining and programming activities within an AS9100D certified environment. This role develops, tests, and optimizes CNC programs to produce complex, high-precision parts that meet quality and customer requirements. The Machinist 3 provides technical leadership in machining processes, mentors junior machinists, and collaborates with engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with AS9100D standards. This position requires a thorough understanding of CNC machining, tooling, and programming software, as well as strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
