The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for multi‑axis machining operations. What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain CNC programs for 3‑axis, 4‑axis, and 5‑axis machines using Mastercam Optimize machining processes, including tooling selection, speeds, and feeds for complex materials Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and machining strategies Perform machining simulations to validate programs and prevent equipment issues Support process improvements, documentation, and production goals in a high mix/low volume environment
What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or GED 6+ years of CNC programming experience using Mastercam software 2+ years of experience programming 5‑axis CNC machines Experience selecting tooling and machining complex materials Ability to interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
What Sets You Apart:
Experience with multi‑axis CNC mills and lathes Experience with Okuma or DMG Mori 5‑axis machining centers Experience with Mazak Integrex machines Experience using ERP systems Experience using machining simulation software
Additional Information:
Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen Must be authorized to work in the United States No security clearance required Work is performed onsite in a manufacturing environment Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted Role requires standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and other physical activities Overtime and weekend work may be required Relocation assistance:
