You'll collaborate closely with machine operators and the Purchasing Department, ensuring that the digital data streamlines production processes effectively. Your expertise will drive efficiency in manufacturing, contributing to a workplace that values precision and quality in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate structural steel designs into CNC machine instructions, facilitating seamless operations on the shop floor. Optimize material usage through effective nesting and minimizing scrap, thereby contributing to cost savings for the organization. Collaborate with machine operators to troubleshoot programming issues swiftly, ensuring production continuity and workflow efficiency. Utilize AutoCAD to verify dimensions and interpret structural shop drawings, enhancing the accuracy of machining processes.Requirements:
Proficiency in Raptor software with a focus on Peddinghaus machinery, including DSTV/i-Lines and geometry management. Strong command of AutoCAD and ability to read complex structural blueprints for accurate machine programming and setup. Demonstrated experience in material nesting and optimization in a high-volume manufacturing context. Solid understanding of structural steel shapes and AISC tolerances, essential for maintaining quality and integrity during production.Role Details:
