The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs for various machining operations, ensuring precision and efficiency in production. This role requires a strong background in G-Code Programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to support high-quality manufacturing processes. Duties Develop and modify CNC programs for milling machines, lathes. interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate machining processes. Set up and operate CNC machines including CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring adherence to specifications. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments to verify part dimensions. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize machining processes and reduce waste. Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, geometry, or machine setup to maintain production flow. Maintain documentation of programs, tooling setups, for quality control purposes. Collaborate with modification on process improvements related to CNC machining. Requirements Proven experience in CNC programming with proficiency in Fanuc controls. Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing standards. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling, CNC lathe and milling machines. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent math skills including geometry and the use of precision measurement instruments for quality assurance. Strong troubleshooting skills in machining processes and machine setup.
