Job Description

The CNC Programmers is part of our Subsea Technologies Division located in Spring, TX. CNC Programmers will develop and incorporate CNC programs utilizing Esprit CAD/CAM program for the programming of products including related documentation. Will assist with the conception, design, implementation of processes, and equipment integration with machine tools used during the manufacturing processes. Also creates operations, tests and recommends tooling, and as needed setup procedures used to produce products on available machines. Responsible for part evaluation and program development with consideration of cost, machine optimization, and personnel utilization.
Responsibilities:
Work with a team of engineers and technicians in the daily activities involved in running and maintaining the production line. Assists with the development of the product design and functionality and improves manufacturing methods. Analyzes the risks of a new design or process and communicates results to engineer. Implements the product design within the schedule and budget parameters Develops and maintains procedures and processes that support core machine technologies. Provides support to manufacturing to ensure product is fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design. Interfaces with others in the organization and customers to jointly determine customer needs and solutions. Collaborates with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods Interfaces with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Communicates with vendors to review product specifications and suggest equipment, materials, or parts, for purchase. Evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 7 to 10 years CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have experience using CAD software, ERP software and Microsoft Office. Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments. Analytical

This position will require working primarily indoors in a smoke-free office and manufacturing facility but may also require the employee to be outdoors on occasion. Limited travel will be required to support offsite personnel and business projects. Occasional assignments will require remote accessing and may include evening or weekend schedules.
