A CNC Programmer programs computer-controlled equipment used to cut wood, plastic, or metal according to precise measurements, or equipment used for different manufacturing processes.
We are supporting an opportunity for a skilled technical professional to help plan, create, verify, and revise machine control data, geometry, and documentation used to produce and inspect parts, tools, and assemblies. We are looking for someone who can contribute to manufacturing and producibility efforts while helping guide the development of machining techniques, processes, software, and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Establish technical requirements to support manufacturing and producibility. Plan, create, verify, and revise machine control data, geometry, and documentation for numerically controlled equipment. Identify equipment and approaches, coordinate and assign work, and train or mentor others. Support the development and integration of new machining techniques, manufacturing methods, processes, software, and equipment.
Required:
1 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 or more years of experience in numerical control programming. 1 or more years of experience programming with
CATIA V5.
Experience with Mastercam programming software.
