Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs to ensure precise and efficient machining of complex components. Your expertise will directly contribute to the production of high-quality parts using advanced CNC machinery, including 5-axis CNC machines and CNC lathes. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for precision engineering, this is an exciting opportunity to elevate your career in manufacturing innovation. Responsibilities Develop and write CNC programs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar tools to produce detailed machining instructions. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with a strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure accurate manufacturing processes. Set up CNC machining tools and fixtures, including tooling selection and calibration for optimal performance on machines like CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and 5-axis CNC machines. Program and operate various CNC equipment, including Fanuc controls, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Conduct precision measurements using measurement instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and bore gauges to verify part dimensions during production. Troubleshoot machining issues by analyzing tool paths, geometry, and machine parameters; adjust programs accordingly for continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately while applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and manufacturing processes to optimize machining strategies. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming using Fanuc controls along with experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks or CATIA. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Hands-on experience with CAM software for programming complex parts on multi-axis CNC milling machines and lathes. Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes and their integration into manufacturing workflows. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction in machining operations. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in measurement techniques utilizing calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMMs, and other precision measurement instruments for quality control. Ability to set up machining tools efficiently while ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times. Experience with geometry calculations relevant to metal machining processes; ability to troubleshoot tooling issues effectively. Join us as a CNC Programmer where your expertise will drive precision manufacturing excellence! We value innovation, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement—help us shape the future of manufacturing technology!
