Our products are showcased at major events, including the Super Bowl, film productions, and numerous concert venues. Job Summary We are seeking a CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our team! In this role, you will operate and program advanced CNC machines to produce precision metal components. You should be able to setup and operate a Haas VF-4 machine and a Fadal (VNX3016L). There is a manual lathe that is used on occasion also. G Code Programming is essential. Duties Set up and operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and 5-axis CNC machines to produce complex parts with precision. Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM software, ensuring optimal machining strategies. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce parts according to specifications. Perform tooling setup, calibration, and adjustments to ensure machining accuracy. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement instruments for quality control. Requirements Proven experience operating and programming CNC milling machines and CNC lathes. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machining tools, tooling setups, schematics, and machine maintenance. Excellent measurement skills using precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Strong math skills for accurate programming and measurement calculations. Ability to read schematics and mechanical blueprints accurately while adhering to safety standards. Applied is looking for someone who is a self starter able to work with minimum supervision. We offer a relaxed workplace in a small business atmosphere. Don't hesitate to contact us with questions.
