Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dependable CNC Laser Programmer/Operator with 3+ years experience to join our metal fabrication team. This position is responsible for programming and operating CNC laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts according to customer specifications and production schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced shop. Responsibilities Program, set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders Load and unload material safely and efficiently Verify dimensions and part quality using measuring tools Select tooling and make machine adjustments as needed Maintain production schedules while meeting quality standards Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning Maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist with general shop duties as needed Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC laser equipment Experience with programming using SolidWorks and AutoCAD required Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings Knowledge of metal fabrication processes Strong math and measuring skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Preferred Experience Forklift or overhead crane experience Welding or fabrication shop background Familiarity with production software and nesting programs
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
