• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment
  
• Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software
  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications
  
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, and machining strategies
  
• Perform first-article inspections using precision measuring equipment
  
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to improve quality, efficiency, and repeatability
  
• Collaborate with engineering on manufacturability, tooling, and machining processes
  
• Support prototype, custom, and low-volume machining projects
  
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area What We're Looking For Ideal candidates are curious, detail-oriented problem solvers who take pride in producing high-quality work and want to continue developing their CNC programming skills. Experience with the following is helpful:
• CNC machining and machine setup
  
• CAM programming, including Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM, or similar software
  
• Reading engineering drawings and blueprints
  
• Editing or troubleshooting CNC programs and G-code
  
• Tooling, workholding, and machining strategies

• 4-axis or 5-axis machining We're also looking for someone who:
• Can work independently while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing
  
• Is adaptable and comfortable shifting priorities when needed
  
• Has strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  
• Works efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  
• Is interested in learning, cross-training, and expanding their skill set Requirements
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a prototype, job shop, or production environment
  
• CNC programming experience using CAM software
  
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, setup, tooling, workholding, and machine operation
  
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
