Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a CNC Set Up Operator at a company in Racine, WI. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift. Apply now!
CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write CNC programs using Mastercam
  • Set up and operate CNC machining tools
  • Conduct tooling setup, calibration, and adjustments to optimize machining processes for metal components with high precision
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing workflows through lean manufacturing principles and continuous process improvements
  • Troubleshoot machining issues related to geometry, tooling wear, or machine performance; implement corrective actions promptly
  • Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, tooling configurations, and measurement data to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards Requirements for
CNC Programmer:
  • 7-10 years of experience
  • Proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD; CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360; and familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation of schematics with GD&T knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement instruments
