• Monday-Friday The work We're a manufacturer doing prototype and R D machining, which means the parts are hard, the tolerances are tight, and nobody has made them before.

You'll program in NX CAM on: DMG Mori DMU 95 — 5-axis machining center, Siemens control DN Solutions

What "senior" means here You're not just making chips. You're the technical authority on the programming side: Own the hardest jobs — simultaneous 5-axis, mill-turn, thin-wall and deep-pocket work on material that fights back Take jobs from print to first good part, including setup, fixturing, and proveout at the machine Develop and refine post-processors, templates, and tooling libraries so the whole team works faster Set programming standards and best practices for a shop that's still writing them Mentor the programmers and machinists around you You'll have real authority over how the programming function runs. We're small and growing, and we want someone whose judgment we can build around, not someone who needs a process handed to them. What you need 10+ years of machine shop experience with 5+ years of NX CAM programming Proven simultaneous 5-axis and mill-turn programming on real production parts Siemens control experience strongly preferred GD&T fluency — you read a print and immediately know what's going to be hard Real setup and proveout skill. You're comfortable at the machine, not just at the desk. US Person status as required by ITAR (US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) Ability to pass a background check Strong operational and shop systems experience Experience finish machining AM parts desired Zeiss calypso experience is a big plus, but CMM experience is not required Benefits $50
