Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while contributing to diverse projects that enhance the built environment. Duties Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion of paint or coatings Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and other hand or power tools Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and surface preparation instructions to execute precise work Conduct surface inspections for quality control, color matching using visual comparison techniques, and adherence to project specifications Perform structural painting tasks on walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, drywall, and other surfaces in residential or commercial settings Follow safety regulations diligently by using appropriate respiratory protection, harnesses when working at heights with ladders or scaffolding, and adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites Assist with renovation projects by performing plastering, caulking, fixture installation, drywall finishing, and basic carpentry such as trim or frame work Experience Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial projects with a solid understanding of surface preparation and coating techniques Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Hands-on experience with various painting tools including brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (airless and conventional), power tools, and scaffolding or ladder use for elevated work Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction site work including respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and surface area estimations accurately Experience with related trades such as carpentry (trim framing), drywall installation/finishing, masonry (stucco), plastering or welding is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent color theory knowledge for precise color matching in restoration or renovation projects Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with your craftsmanship! Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
