Trinity Rail is hiring an Entry Detail Specialist at our Jonesboro, Arkansas plant. This is a great opportunity to join a hands-on team that supports the finishing and detailing work behind quality railcar products. The Entry Detail Specialist role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in quality work and is ready to learn in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will prepare materials, surfaces, and structures for paint, laminate, rubber, or other coverings, while applying coatings and detailed finishes according to specifications and final product requirements. You will also prepare and apply detailing with paint, decals, or stencils; operate specialized paint and metal surface application equipment; use measuring tools; and mix and apply coating systems such as alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies, and water-borne paint systems according to prescribed formulas. This position also requires maintaining required paperwork, following all safety rules and practices, and supporting safety initiatives or other duties as assigned. What you'll do: Perform basic exterior touch-up coating using a brush or roller Apply stencils, decals, and other detailed finishes with accuracy and attention to quality What you'll need: 0-1 years of related experience Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, work orders, and safety guidelines Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or production environment Willingness to learn coating, detailing, stenciling, and surface preparation processes Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team Basic math, measuring, and documentation skills
