We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. This position requires prior experience in an industrial blast and paint environment — this is not an entry-level role. Position Summary The Industrial Painter is responsible for surface preparation, masking, coating application, equipment maintenance, and quality verification within a heavy steel manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate understands coating systems, follows specifications precisely, and takes pride in producing high-quality, consistent work. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE at all times Perform surface preparation and masking according to job specifications Apply industrial coatings using spray systems and pressure pot equipment Read and interpret blueprints and coating specifications Read and follow manufacturer Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and SDS requirements Troubleshoot and maintain coating application equipment Perform coating repairs and touch-ups as needed Measure and verify coating thickness using appropriate testing equipment Maintain clean and organized work area (5S standards) Assist other departments as production demands require Work overtime as needed to meet production schedules Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of industrial painting experience (manufacturing or heavy industrial environment required) Experience with industrial spray equipment and pressure pot systems Experience with surface preparation and masking techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to read tape measure accurately Forklift experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment Preferred Qualification s Experience in heavy steel manufacturing Knowledge of epoxy, urethane, and industrial coating systems Experience operating thickness testing equipment (mil gauges) Familiarity with SSPC standards What We're Looking For Reliable and safety-focused Detail-oriented with strong quality standards Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working overtime when production requires Why Join Titan?
