In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to truck bodies, equipment, and related components, ensuring durability, aesthetics, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help enhance the appearance and longevity of our fleet and equipment, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Prepare truck bodies and equipment surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint using airless spray guns, power tools, or hand tools with precision and consistency to achieve smooth, professional finishes. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and surface refinishing to restore vehicles to their original condition. Conduct auto painting tasks such as color matching, blending, buffing, and detailing to produce flawless results. Utilize auto glass tools and techniques for minor glass replacements or repairs as needed. Operate welding equipment for body repairs or modifications that require structural reinforcement or customization. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols related to hazardous materials like paints and solvents. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks when necessary, including minor mechanical repairs or inspections. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating processes for repairs or customizations requested by customers. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about work progress and addressing client inquiries professionally. Requ ired Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, buffing machines, and auto detailing equipment. Familiarity with welding techniques applicable to auto body work and heavy lifting capabilities for handling large truck components safely. Knowledge of auto glass replacement procedures and auto restoration processes is advantageous. Experience operating HVLP paint sprayers and other spray painting equipment for efficient application of finishes. Ability to perform detailed auto estimating tasks accurately for repair planning purposes. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members alike. Valid experience working with dealership standards or in a similar fast-paced automotive environment is a plus.
