$27/hr for Apprentice Level and $42/hr for Journeyman Level

PER DIEM

$100/day for days worked (if outside 60 miles from job site)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial/Industrial Painter to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in surface preparation, spray application, and painting in commercial or industrial environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of coatings, preparing surfaces for paint, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, masking, and priming Set up and operate spray painting equipment for commercial and industrial applications Apply paints, coatings, epoxies, and finishes using spray equipment, rollers, and brushes Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications Protect surrounding areas with masking, plastic, and drop cloths Inspect finished work to ensure quality, consistency, and proper coverage Maintain painting tools, spray guns, hoses, and equipment Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Work from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or elevated platforms when needed Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the project

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a commercial or industrial painter preferred

MUST HAVE OSHA 10

(or be willing to get) Experience with spray painting equipment and surface preparation required Knowledge of industrial coatings, primers, and paint systems Ability to prep areas efficiently for painting applications Comfortable working in industrial environments, including manufacturing plants, warehouses, or construction sites Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills:

Experience with airless spray systems, epoxy coatings, or protective coatings Familiarity with OSHA safety standards Ability to read work orders, blueprints, or project specifications

Commercial construction sites Industrial facilities and manufacturing plants Indoor and outdoor work environments Potential exposure to dust, fumes, and varying temperatures

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required
