In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality ceramic coatings using Cerakote products to a variety of metal and composite parts. Your expertise will ensure that finished products meet strict quality standards, durability requirements, and aesthetic specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, craftsmanship, and safety are paramount. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal coating adhesion. Mix and match Cerakote coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes according to project specifications. Operate airless paint sprayers, spray guns, power tools, and other hand tools to apply ceramic coatings evenly across parts. Use precision measuring instruments and fabrication tools to verify dimensions and surface quality before coating. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials, waste disposal, and equipment cleaning. Follow safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, gloves, and eye protection. Conduct inspections using visual assessments and measurement tools to ensure coating consistency and quality control throughout the process. Qualifications Previous experience with industrial or auto body painting, especially using airless spray systems or similar application methods. Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining, fabrication, welding, or auto body repair is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes; warehouse experience is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and safety standards within a manufacturing or construction environment. Ability to work with various materials including metals and composites while maintaining high attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to quality standards.
