M-F; 7am to 3pm (OT and weekends as needed)

Overview:

An Industrial Blaster Painter prepares surfaces for painting using blasting techniques and applies industrial coatings, requiring skills in equipment operation, safety protocols, and coating application.

Surface Preparation:

-Remove dirt, rust, old paint, and other contaminants from surfaces using various blasting media (e.g., sand, grit, shot). -Prepare surfaces for painting to ensure proper adhesion and durability of the coating. -Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from defects before painting.

Coating Application:

-Apply industrial coatings (e.g., paints, primers, sealants) using various methods (e.g., spray guns, brushes, rollers). -Mix and apply coatings according to specifications and safety guidelines.

Work environment:

Fast paced and noisy, long-standing hours The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Workshop Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
