Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Body Shop Painter to join our automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles that have undergone collision repairs or restorations. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their original condition, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to excellence in auto body repair and painting. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using airless spray guns, power tools, or hand tools, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes Conduct auto body repairs such as filling dents, repairing panels, and welding as needed before painting Perform detailing tasks including buffing, polishing, and finishing to achieve a flawless appearance Manage auto glass replacement and repairs when necessary during the restoration process Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks and auto restoration projects to support overall shop operations Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive auto body repair background Strong knowledge of auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying and buffing methods Proficiency with welding, hand tools, power tools, and auto glass installation Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills for effective communication with clients Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle detailed detailing tasks such as buffing and polishing Familiarity with auto estimating procedures, auto body repair standards, and auto painting best practices Mechanic experience is a plus, providing a well-rounded understanding of vehicle systems Join us in delivering exceptional vehicle restorations by bringing your passion for auto body work and painting!
