Vallejo, CA Job Details $26 - $33 an hour 2 hours ago Full Job Description About Us Lind Marine is a full-service maritime and marine-construction company providing ship repair, dredging, heavy-lift operations, waterfront construction, and vessel support services for commercial and government clients. Our work ranges from shipyard overhauls to complex field operations throughout the San Francisco Bay and Delta. Position Summary Lind Marine is seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 Painter to join our Shipyard team. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of painting experience who can perform surface preparation and apply marine coatings with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be able to independently complete standard shipyard painting projects while consistently delivering high-quality results.

$26-$33 per hour

Director of Shipyard & Manufacturing Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces and apply primers, enamels, epoxies, and other marine coatings. Properly mask, mix, and apply coatings to required thickness and finish specifications. Read and follow Paint Data Sheets (PDS) and technical requirements. Conduct quality checks to ensure proper coverage, cleanliness, and adhesion. Work on larger components and simple hull structures. Assist with training new employees and lead small projects as needed. Required Qualifications 1-3 years of industrial, marine, or shipyard painting experience preferred. Knowledge of coating application techniques and quality standards. Ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality expectations.
