Full Job Description Rotair Aerospace Corporation located in Bridgeport, CT has an opening for a full-time, experienced Paint & Shop Assembly Technician. We are looking for a responsible lead candidate experienced with spray painting and masking techniques on helicopter spare parts or automotive parts as well as able to work on the assembly of spare parts as needed. Some of your daily functions may include, but not be limited to: Paint helicopter spare parts in a spray booth, knowledge of masking as well as different paints and epoxies is helpful. Assist with the assembly of helicopter spare parts, as needed. Maintain paperwork that must accompany all parts. The candidate we are looking for will have experience with : Aerospace or helicopter component experience Epoxy/polyurethane coatings knowledge Surface prep, alodine, primer systems Masking intricate parts Mil-spec or OEM coating requirements Ability to read blueprints/process sheets Spray booth/environmental compliance knowledge Touch-up/detail finish quality AS9100 or FAA environment experience This is a full-time position with an AS9100 registered company. Our hours are Monday through Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Overtime is available and encouraged. Candidates will be subject to pre-employment competency, drug and background testing. The starting salary for this position begins at $25.00 per hour and increases commensurate with experience.
