Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential Painter and bring vibrant transformations to homes through expert painting craftsmanship. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying high-quality coatings, and ensuring every project meets our standards of excellence. Your attention to detail and dedication will help create beautiful, lasting finishes that enhance our clients' living spaces. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled painters passionate about residential renovation and restoration projects, working in a collaborative environment that values safety, precision, and artistry. Duties Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray techniques), and other hand or power tools with precision and efficiency Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and color schemes to accurately execute design specifications Perform surface repairs such as plastering, stucco application, masonry work, or drywall finishing to create a smooth base for painting Conduct surface preparation tasks including sanding, scraping, masking, and protection of fixtures or surrounding areas during renovation projects Use safety equipment diligently by adhering to safety regulations such as respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials Assist with remodeling projects by installing fixtures, trim carpentry, framing, or other handyman tasks as needed to support comprehensive home improvements Requirements Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of construction site procedures and surface preparation techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools (brushes, scrapers), power tools (drills, sanders), paint sprayers (airless and conventional), and scaffolding or ladder use for elevated work Strong understanding of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and visual color matching skills Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction schematics accurately Familiarity with construction estimating processes and basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities Knowledge of safety regulations including proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols on construction sites Experience with industrial painting or coating applications is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is valued highly Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders safely, and working in various weather conditions Join us in creating stunning residential environments!
