Painter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques for in-house commercial projects. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes. The Painter will work closely with other tradespeople in our workshop and must be able to read blueprints and follow project specifications. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply automotive paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the scope of work required for each project. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting and finishing. Collaborate with our welder and other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution. Renovate and restore surfaces as required, maintaining high standards of quality throughout the process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a Painter in an industrial setting. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately. Experience with automotive paint is a plus. Familiarity with airless paint spraying equipment is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople.
