The science behind every Chandler bat results in a distinct, booming crack that has changed the sound of baseball forever.
Job Title:
Manufacturing Paint & Finish Technician We are currently looking for a highly motivated full-time paint and finish technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys being able to consistently produce the best looking and performing wood bat in the industry. This position will be responsible for prepping, painting, and finishing wood baseball bats utilizing a variety of processes and materials. Previous experience with a paint sprayer and efficient with use of an HVLP Gravity-fed spray gun in industries such as automotive, industrial, or boat manufacturing or even furniture refinishing is preferred.
Prerequisites include:
Ability to mix and apply custom solvent-based finishes and topcoats Ability to operate an HVLP gravity-fed spray gun for base and top coating processes Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders Ability to work independently, as well as take direction Ability to physically stand for an 8-hour shift Manual dexterity for repetitive-motion, hands-on tasks Ideal candidates possess: Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and effective communication with others Comfort with regular exposure to work near moving mechanical parts Desire to continually acquire and develops new skill sets Pride in work exhibited through high level performance and attention to detail This is a first shift position generally 9 am - 5 pm but we are flexible on earlier daily start times. Pay and increases will be based on experience and demonstration of skills over time.
