Job Description

Join the country s leading Cardiac PET provider! Cardiac Imaging Inc. (CII) is looking for talented and ambitious professionals to join our dynamic team and improve patient outcomes across the nation. Despite heart disease being the leading cause of death in the US, most physicians and patients do not have access to the leading technology in Cardiology. As we continue to grow, we currently have a tremendous opportunity for a Painter Assistant who is up for the challenge.
Summary/Objective:
Painter Helper is responsible for prepping surfaces of the exterior of medical coaches, camera covers and equipment for Painters to restore and refinish them.
Essential Functions:
Removes rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surface. Masks and protects parts that are not to be painted or coated. Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface. Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair. Keeps work area clean. Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management. Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles. Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc. Other related tasks as assigned.
Supervisor Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Hub, mobile unit, and/or provider site. Exposure to varying elements (noise, exhaust, weather, etc.)
Physical Demands:
Standing for long periods and bending. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Physical activity: talking, hearing, standing, sitting, grasping, fingering, lifting, carrying, and reaching overhead. Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
Physical Demands:
medium work - exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Visual Acuity:
is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Work Conditions:
Exposure to paint fumes, dust, and noise; use of protective gear is mandatory.
Qualifications and Requirements:
One (1) or more years of related employment experience in a collision repair facility preferred Automotive interest and desire to develop a career in the industry Ability to keep up and succeed in a fast-paced working environment Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to learn company policies and adhere to them in the performance of all assigned duties and communicate any compliance deviations to management in a timely manner
