Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking skilled Abrasive Blasters and Industrial Painters to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various blasting/painting techniques and general labor tasks. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
Abrasive Blaster Key Responsibilities:
Operate abrasive blasting equipment to remove paint, rust, dirt, or other contaminants from surfaces. Select and mix abrasives according to surface specifications and project requirements. Ensure proper setup and maintenance of blasting equipment to maximize efficiency and safety. Perform inspections of blasted surfaces to verify cleanliness and adherence to project specifications. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
Abrasive Blaster Requirements:
Proven experience as an Abrasive Blaster or similar role in industrial settings. Proficiency in operating abrasive blasting equipment and understanding of different blasting techniques. Knowledge of various abrasives and their applications. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Industrial Painter Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers. Select and mix paints and coatings to match project requirements. Apply paints and coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, ensuring even application and desired texture. Monitor drying times and recoat windows to achieve optimal finish quality. Inspect finished work to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards. Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Industrial Painter Requirements:
Proven experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role in industrial settings. Expertise in preparing surfaces and applying various types of paints and coatings. Familiarity with different painting techniques and materials. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Several jobs are on the books for this year that include in town and out of town work. Travel and Per Diem are included for out of town work.

$21.00 - $35.00 per hour
