Overview We are seeking skilled Aircraft Preppers & Painters to join our team, contributing to the restoration, and finishing of aircraft surfaces. This role requires a strong background in various painting techniques, surface preparation, or related skills. This position offers an engaging opportunity to apply diverse skills such as blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and the use of hand and power tools in a dynamic setting.
Job description:
Dean Baldwin Painting is a 60-year-old established aircraft painting company and is looking for motivated, hardworking, and energetic individuals to fill our Aircraft Prepper and Aircraft Painter positions. We offer a full on-the-job training program that will teach you the skills you need for advancement and pay increases. Learn how to work on commercial narrow body and wide body aircraft. Knowledge of prep work or paint work on cars, boats, or large metal parts may start you at a higher rate. Employees will be expected to:
Be authorized to work in the US Pass DOT Drug Test Maintain Excellent Attendance Be able to climb stairs, stand and walk 90% of Shift. Be able to lift, climb, turn, and work under physical conditions during entire shift. Wear Respirators and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. Aircraft Preppers start at $17.51 Pay commensurate with proven experience. Day & Night 10 hour Shifts open; night shift has $1.00 pay differential. Overtime available Rotating shifts •must be available weekends. Must be able to commute or relocate before starting work.

Pay:
$17.51 - $31.91 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
