Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective coatings to various large-scale billboard components and metal structures. Your expertise will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, durability, and visual appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced materials and tools in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion Operate paint sprayers, spray guns, brushes, and rollers to apply coatings efficiently and evenly Use hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and minor fabrication tasks Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment to transport components Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify coating thickness and quality standards Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure timely completion of painting tasks within production schedules Experience Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes and equipment operation Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes Knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and repair techniques is advantageous Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments accurately Join us at Formetco where your skills will contribute directly to creating high-quality billboard solutions that make an impact worldwide!
