Job Description
Heavy-Duty Paint & Body Technician Cooper Truck & Trailer | Emerson, IA Build Trucks You're Proud Of. Cooper Truck & Trailer is one of Southwest Iowa's fastest-growing truck repair facilities, and we're looking for an experienced Heavy-Duty Paint & Body Technician to join our team. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy seeing a project through from damaged to restored, and want to work on everything from collision repairs to custom truck projects, we want to talk with you. What You'll Do Perform collision and body repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers Repair and replace damaged panels, doors, hoods, bumpers, and structural components Conduct fiberglass and aluminum repairs Prepare surfaces for paint, including sanding, masking, and priming Perform paint blending, refinishing, and complete paint jobs Assist with frame straightening and structural repairs Complete truck and trailer restoration projects Maintain a clean and organized work area Document repairs and communicate effectively with management QualificationsPreferred Experience Body shop experience required Heavy-duty truck or trailer experience preferred but not required Experience with paint preparation and spray equipment Knowledge of collision repair techniques Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Ability to work independently and efficiently What We're Looking For Strong work ethic Attention to detail Pride in craftsmanship Positive attitude Dependable attendance Team-oriented mindset What We Offer Competitive Pay Based on Experience Full-Time, Year-Round Work Monday-Friday Schedule Health Insurance Available Family-Owned Business Advancement Opportunities Modern Equipment and Facilities Variety of Work—No Two Days Are the Same Why Cooper Truck & Trailer?
