Paint Prep Technician Aerotek - Immediate Hiring!!!! Job Overview Aerotek is immediately hiring a Paint Prep Technician to support high-volume manufacturing operations. This role focuses on sanding, deburring, and touch-ups on small painted parts while maintaining high quality and production standards. Key Responsibilities Perform paint touch-ups on finished parts Sand and deburr parts using files, wire brushes, hand grinders, or power tools Prepare 1,500-3,000 small parts per shift Meet daily production goals with strong attention to detail Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in paint prep, powder coating, or manufacturing environments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency Comfortable working with chemicals and light PPE Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally Work Environment Clean, aerospace manufacturing facility producing carbon‑fiber composite parts for Boeing, Airbus, and Blue Origin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
