Updated 08/2026 Job Description Job Summary STS Technical Services is actively hiring experienced Aircraft Painters to join our client's team in Moline, Illinois. This is a great opportunity to work on corporate aircraft and contribute to high-quality paint work from start to finish.

Position Overview:

We are looking for 4-6 skilled Aircraft Painters who take pride in their craft and are ready to jump into a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Candidates must be experienced in painting corporate aircraft and capable of performing the full paint process, including prep, masking, base coat, final coat, and finishing.

Job Duties:

Perform all phases of the aircraft paint process from surface preparation to final finish Work with primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes as required Ensure proper masking, taping, and sanding techniques are followed Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment Execute layout tasks for striping and complex designs (if applicable)

Qualifications:

Previous experience painting corporate aircraft is required Must be comfortable with full-cycle paint work from prep to final application Experience with layout and striping is highly desirable Ability to read and follow technical documents, drawings, and specifications Willingness to work in a collaborative team setting with high attention to detail Layout experience (e.g., striping, complex designs) is highly desirable and will be considered favorably.
