Summary:

CraneWerks is a fast-growing overhead crane manufacturer in Morristown, Indiana. We are looking for a motivated individual with 2 years of practical experience to apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products Power-wash and other pre-painting activities in preparation for painting/fabrication Mix and spray industrial coatings, water- and solvent-based paint to specifications Use instrumentation to ensure compliance with customer specifications Assist in rigging large objects for paint application Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment and observe good safety habits Adhere to all OSHA and HazMat procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials Report malfunctions of equipment or processing to supervisor

Qualifications:

2 years practical experience with industrial coatings and applications of surface preparation required Familiarity with various types of metal abrasive treatments preferred Flexibility - position may occasionally require working weekends, overtime, or travel Must be on time for scheduled work shifts, able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, and able to shift priorities when need dictates Must be a team player, ready to contribute your effort to group tasks and goals Education and/or

Experience:

High school degree or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time
