Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our residential painting team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their durability, and ensure a high-quality finish that meets client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your skills in surface preparation, color matching, and finishing techniques to deliver exceptional results. Duties Prepare surfaces through sanding, scraping, cleaning, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray systems), and other hand or power tools Conduct surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, drywall finishing, and masonry work to ensure smooth application surfaces Use ladder safety protocols and proper respiratory protection when working at heights or with hazardous materials Perform site-specific safety inspections adhering to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment Qualifications Proven minimum of 3 years professional experience in residential painting projects Strong knowledge of safety regulations and proper use of safety equipment such as respirators and harnesses Skilled in surface preparation techniques like sanding, power tool operation, plastering, and caulking Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, schematics and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with various painting methods including brush painting, roller application, spray painting (airless and conventional), and coating techniques Experience with color theory for accurate color matching and visual color comparison skills Competence in using hand tools such as putty knives, scrapers, trowels; power tools including drills and sanders; as well as scaffolding or ladder use for elevated work Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to surface area or material quantities Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your expertise to high-quality painting projects.
