Summary:

RANS Designs is now hiring for the position of Powder Coating Technician. As a Powder Coating Technician, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to aircraft parts in accordance with the criteria of the RANS Quality Assurance Program. Responsibilities:

• Perform responsibilities relating to RANS' powder coating operations
• Sandblast and prep parts
• Operate manual electrostatic guns to apply powder to parts
• Check finished product to ensure highest quality
• Maintain equipment in good working condition
• Ensure work area is clean and hazard free
• Assist other related departments as needed

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to work with industrial equipment
• Previous experience sandblasting or powder coating preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of machine shop practices
• Capable of standing, or working on your feet, for long periods of time
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
• Good communication skills (verbal/written)
• High school diploma or GED Compensation is commensurate with experience.
