Renowned for our commitment to craftsmanship and excellence, we take pride in delivering durable and aesthetically appealing products to our clients. Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, employees are responsible to coat or paint wood products with, pigmented conversion varnish, stain, washcoat, seal coat, or top coat using hand operated HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) technology. Our employees typically work Monday - Friday, starting at 6a and work until the daily production requirements for their assigned departments have been met (typically an 8 to 10 hour day). The ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays is a requirement for our positions. New hires who have perfect attendance for their first full 90 days are eligible to earn a $500.00 Perfect Attendance Bonus. A prorated bonus may be available to new hires who do not have perfect attendance based on the number of attendance violations they incur during their first 90 days. Benefits are available after 90 days and include: Health Insurance (HAP EPO) Dental Insurance Life Insurance Short Term & Long Term Disability Insurance 401k (after the completion of 1 year of employment) Duties Set up and prepare spray booth for operations. Ensure ventilation system is working according to specifications. Inspect PPE (personal protection equipment) to ensure proper operating conditions. Set up and prepare spray equipment and pumps. Observe equipment gauges to detect defects or deviations from standards and make adjustments as necessary. Select appropriate coatings, paints or sprays and prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas and charts. Determine paint flow and coating quality by performing visual inspections. Place items or product on spindle stands inside spray booth to spray them. Hold or position spray guns to direct spay onto articles. Conduct test pass first to ensure proper spray flow and fan. Examine sprayed products to ensure conformance to specifications. Transfer completed items or products from racks to dry on carousel racks or place in oven. Record and track work completed on specified forms. Clean pumps, related spray equipment, spray booths and work areas, using water, solvents, and other cleaning aids. Dispose of unused liquid waste into red containers labeled hazardous waste. Transfer containers to still recycle processing area at end of day. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Requirements One or more years of proven ability to operate spray guns in a booth environment to apply stains, sealers, and topcoats uniformly. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Strong understanding of safety protocols related to painting and materials handling Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting while maintaining quality standardsPay:
