Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Painter with proven leadership skills to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on painting expertise and experience leading crews, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely and on schedule.
Job Duties:
Painting is one of the final steps that take place before the parts go out the door and to our customers. This role consists of using a HVLP paint gun to spray the finished parts to the specifications that the customer requires. Those who do well in this role are perfectionists and have a good eye for detail. This job requires working alone and managing your own workstation. Willing to train the right candidate. Will also work in finishing department.
Required Skills:
Previous experience with HVLP gun, pressure pot sprayers, autobody paint, finish and repair is essential in this position. Proficiency in surface preparation, masking, paint ratio mixing and curing concepts is necessary. Candidate needs to have experience in visual quality inspection of finished parts and must work cooperatively with supervisors and quality on painting quality standards, including adhesion control, paint thickness, temperature and humidity. Candidate needs to grasp understanding of need for quality parts at production speed. Ideal candidate would have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing/production environment or industrial painting role. Experience with CARC paint helpful
