Industrial Painter Specialized Talent Acquisition Recruiting Team (START) Detroit, MI Job Details $19.05 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence High school diploma or GED Spray guns (painting, coating and spraying tool) Full Job Description Responsible for work flow through the paint room and performing painting operations per customer requirements in accordance with established quality, productivity and safety guidelines.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Operation and maintenance of industrial paint booth equipment. This would include airless/air-assisted paint pump, adjusting spray pressure, switching colors and cleaning the booth and equipment. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. One year experience in spray painting
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve. Ability to regulate width and pressure of spray according to knowledge of painting technique. Ability to pass physical and respirator fit test. Successful completion of an internal painting competency test.
